Walmart doesn't carry it around here in Richmond, BC. Local auto parts stores stopped carrying Maxlife (apparently no one bought valvoline's high mileage oil there)

Walmart carries regular MaxLife though, but my truck got pretty good results for using Pennzoil Platinum, but now my rear main seal is leaking a bit. I tried Maxlife 5w30, and it worked great, reducing the usage, and it got dark fast, so I know the detergents were doing a great job.

Where can us canadians buy Maxlife synthetic?

I've seen it (though not recently) at Canadian tire. Another place that sometimes carries Valvoline products is Zellers, though their prices are really high.

Napa tends to carry Ashland products as well, so you could try there. Again, pricing isn't great and there are no sales.

I do get preferred customer discount at NAPA, although I think that applys mostly for parts and not oil. Will check though, maybe they can special order it.

Canadian tire might carry it in the 1qt bottles, i'll have to see. I'd be suprised if they had it in the 4.4L jug.

what is so special about MaxLife Syn ? I just wonder :P

Its an extended OCI synthetic long life high mileage oil, versus regular high mileage oils.

Like Pennzoil HM versus Mobil 1 HM.

I have seen the jugs at CT before. I'm not positive that they still carry them though.

mechjames, maybe try Lordco? They carry oil brands like Havoline that nobody else has up here. They can probably special order it if they don't stock it.
