Looks like its harder to find who's the supplier for this oil, than it was difficult to find Saddam...
Its nothing like Petro-Canada
It's not Esso anymore.
Its nothing like Shell and they refuse to confirm...
Its nothing like Castrol, QS, or Valvoline
Canadian doesn't want to say it...

Last time I contacted my friend that works at CT head office, told me it is Shell at the present time. Use to be Imperial Oil (Esso).

http://eolcs.api.org/

I wrote to the API, asked about it, and got a
reply saying that CT did not renew their license
last year. They are also claiming that all their
grades are "energy conserving", even the 20w50.

Even the Safety Kleen recycled oil at Wal Mart is
on the list of API licensees, and it's much less
expensive than CT's oil.

I dunno what's going on at Canadian Tire.

I've heard too that Shell is the supplier, but they doesn't want to say it.

One thing for sure they brew a special batch for Can.tire or they play with the data sheet since none of the original shell oil have the same data compared to the Can tire
