About a week after doing an Iron X treatment I noticed the paint on the ridge of my rear bumper is cracking! Could the Iron X cause this? The cracks just showed up and nothing has hit the back bumper to cause such damage. I'm just hoping it doesn't start to chip away =/

Interesting question. The thing to wonder is what is the chemistry of iron x?
Searching online to find an MSDS, it appears that this is a sulfur chemistry, namely Ammonium Sulfanylacetate and Alkyl Ethoxy sulphate
Not sure if these things have the ability to solve and/or damage paint, or if the paint had underlying faults, the substrate... Or, if these sort of things somehow "dry out" paint, causing it to go brittle.

It's not the drying out that might cause cracking. I've posted that iron x is essentially an iron limit test in chemistry terms.
If you break it down physically, iron embedded below paint surfaces but which is still accessible to the iron out.

If you look at the chemical reaction there's a couple things going on which just send some red flags to me. First is that the ultimate byproduct is hydrogen. This can cause either hydrogen embrittlement of materials and also some intermediary steps would be ferrous sulfates or other iron compounds. Sounds harmless but those iron compounds are physically larger than the iron molecules themselves causing physical expansion of the iron particle, this combined with the hydrogen embrittlement caused by the 2H+ ions can possibly cause paint to crack.

Thats possible, if it is then they matched the paint color seamlessly. The gloss is excellent as well. If it gets worse, how much would a rear bumper repaint cost at a decent body shop (NOT MAACO)

Talking quality independent body shops.
Just a rear bumper if a simple mask and respray would be around $300.
If you're talking a true repaint, bumper comes off, old paint stripped bare and resprayed with basecoat/clearcoat expect to pay $750, maybe upwards of $1000.

The plastic bumpers will never match the rest of the car 100% since it is a different material. If you look harder, you'll probably see a slight different in texture and the way that the metallic lays compared to the rest of the car.
I suspect that your bumper is a respray and not the factory clear.
