Shake it up and use it. The 300 I6 is probably one of the most reliable and best engines Ford made, I love them. If you are afraid use 4 qts of some fresh SM oil, and 2 qts of the older oil, or even a 50/50 mix. What ever you decide to do there won't be any problems.
