California May Ban Dark Car Colors

Why does everyone jump all over California when people like us who live here has never heard of it, and over 1/3 of all new cars here are dark color?

Dark tint on windshield never get ticketed? You just watch, our local government is underfunded and need tax revenue....

Because the state has great climate, great landmarks, and a lot if great people, but the politicians there are the biggest bunch of idiots in the world. Collectively, they manage to lower the average I.Q. of Sacramento by 10 points when the legislature is in session. And that's after they've managed to send the worst of the bunch to Washington DC!

PandaBear, I'm not dissing Californians (I was actually born in Fontana), just the monstrously intrusive state government you are forced to live with.

Anyway, It sounds like all the nationwide attention has achieved a good result. Reading that snopes link, it sounds like CARB is now furiously backpedaling away from this whole issue.

Very soon baked beans will be against the law...or maybe there is just too many Mexican restaurants...they could end up requiring personal emissions testing...you know with the CO2 probe and all....

Here's UL (universal law) at play again. You allegedly solve poor diets with lots of veggies, ..which produce a bunch of gas ..which means that your bulging population will live longer to produce the stuff ..in higher quantities ..shortening the extinction date.

I think it is the starving liberal artists in downtown SF and Berkeley that was generating all the news. Most people in the state are not that liberal compare to the rest of the nations.
