Gotta say...I LIKE! I'm a Ford man but I cant think of one Lincoln product I'd buy over a Cadillac right now. From the ATS, CTS and the XTS Cadillac is on a roll IMO. Nice stuff!

Where is the big cadillac with the cooshy ride and too much HP?

The super smooth one with half-inch thick glass windows and that just operates like butter?

At least that is my impression of what caddy used to be like. Maybe it still is. Ive never been in one in my life. But it sure seems to me that they are getting smaller and trying to be more euro-competitive (likely the right move overall). But Im interested in where is the "Americana" version?

It looks pretty good, actually from the back and side. The front is just OK.

Also, too much blue in the instrument cluster for my liking. I wonder if the color is user-configurable.

EDIT: Nevermind. What I posted appears to be a concept back from 2010.

Yeah, thats the prototype that debuted at the Detroit show last year. Tomorrow we'll get a slew of pics of the production model in LA.

Interesting, wonder if it will have the engineering prowess behind it that a halo car demands?

I'd love to see it up against the S class, A8 and 7 series. I wonder if they will offer it with a diesel, AWD and a V12?

It will be FWD with AWD optional and using the 3.6DI engine at 300HP.

This is not meant to be a "halo" car for Cadillac, but it will be a nice replacement for the STS/DTS that are no longer produced. I think the car looks pretty good overall and will offer all kinds of techno stuff that the market seems to want. I think they dropped the ball on 2 major things - Front wheel drive and the 300hp 3.6DI V6. I think the 3.6 is fine, but why only 300hp when the CTS and other variants offer more??

This car should be rear wheel drive and have about 330hp as a starting point or atleast offer the same 318hp as the other 3.6's or better yet offer the 4.6 Northstar V8 optional.

I agree, the last few model year Lincolns have been very dissapointing. But, I predict Lincoln will make a nice recovery in the upcoming years. It will be a wonderful thing to see both Cadillac and Lincoln get back to where they used to be - the luxury leaders of the world.

Looks a little better than their current crop. I'm still not sure i like the styling, but at least they're doing some cool cars!
