The Pentagon Has Officially Released Three Videos Showing UFOs

Like Astro, I have some experience with radar systems, IRST systems, and HUD displays. For 30 years, I was an Air Force pilot, and flew the F-106, F-4, and the F-16. I agree with his statements. Take a look at the video where the "UFO" is crossing the nose of the fighter at a high rate of speed from the upper right to the lower left. That means that the target is crossing from right to left at very high speed as the range to target decreases. They finally get a radar lock on one of the UFOs. The fighter should have to make a VERY hard left turn to keep the target on the radar scope. It does not make any turn at all other than a very slight left bank. The range to the target stays constant at 4.2 miles. This is geometrically impossible. There are similar problems with the other videos.

Over 80 different UFOs Unidentified Flying Object have been sighted...
not one of them has ever been an IFO Identified Flying Object... we don't
know for sure what it is or if it came from another planet...

A combination of sensor ghosts and optical illusions both happening concurrently and sustained over time...... not likely.

Pilot Dave Fravor put eyes on it for some time during sustained maneuver/intercept and observed it from multiple angles and heights.

If it were a mere optical illusion it would not have not been have been picked up on the Spy 1 radar which caught it descending from 100K to sea level in a second or so-this defies newtonian physics as does Fravors description of its acceleration exiting the area.

If it was a sensor ghost and not a real object Pilot Fravor would not have been able to put eyes on it.

If these descriptions of acceleration and deceleration are true - it wasn't built here.

It appears to posses a reactionless propulsion system - what could be providing the power to run this?

Oh no... this is the worst time for Aliens to demand "take us to your leader"

Now this is not endorsing or even discussing the politics and actions, but there is plenty of recovered documentation from Germany in the 30's and 40's that has engineering drawings of aircraft that look suspiciously like what we call UFOs today. Considering that a good bit of German weapons technology was considered 30 years or more ahead of where every other major power was at the time, it's not inconceivable that the scientists who were nabbed through Operation Paperclip brought this knowledge and technology to both the US and Russia, and these "UFOs" are simply the product of those programs. If memory-erasing technology like Will Smith used in MiB is real, we may never know the truth since the military would just wipe memories if you left the program.

The truth is out there.

Concurrency in observation by separate parties escalates validity and removes the likelihood of an easy (ie really?) answer to make the incident appear frivolous - swamp gas, venus, optical illusions, helicopters etcetera ......

Like the missile silo incursion incidents.

Theoretically the otherwise super smart experienced guys all of the sudden couldn't tell the difference between helicopters and UFOS in the official report.

except for the tiny detail that Minot/ Malmstrom AFB had radar tracking of the objects from 100K to ground level in incredibly short windows of time - much like in the Nimitz incident.

Quite the helicopter to make it up to 100K feet to begin with

Perhaps it was a pod of whales or a whale which had been sucked up off the surface of the ocean via gigantic waterspout and was moving up and down in extremely strong wind currents?

Probably just "swamp gas".

The truth about the history of UFO sightings it has never been enough
merely to point to lack of conclusive scientific evidence... even though
the number of sightings has been holding steady what we see are
new storylines with characters with drama and suspense and even plot
twists. And that's the drum UFO believers have beat in the past year or two...

Mercy 69 percent of Americans believe according to a Gallup poll taken
in September that our government knows more than it is telling...
that's 7.4 million full-time equivalent Government workers who are
tight lip and not even anonymously texting what they know...

Despite what The History Channel wants us to believe, the Germans were not particularly far ahead of the Allies technologically and the super secret high tech weapons projects are a myth. They had some significant research advantages in rocketry and missile technology because research had been emphasized since the Wiemar Republic, due to the ban on Germany having heavy artillery after WWI and wanting to develop rocket artillery research. But then the Allies had significant advantages in radar and of course nuclear weapons. Yes they had operational jets first, but the Luftwaffe jet engines were pretty awful and unreliable and the Allies were already on their way to fielding better jets by late 1945. Germany was still producing large numbers of the Me-109 in 1945 that was only marginally improved from the first ones fielded on 1935, so no, they didn't have any secret super weapons, they could barely produce regular ones by the end of the war and Luftwaffe pilots also reported "foo fighters"...

Negative... We are lucky the WW2 German engineers never stopped dreaming and experimenting because we still use their far ahead technology today...

Amazing how they lost WWII then! We still use a lot of technology today...

Allied fighters simply circled Luftwaffe airdromes and shot them down because they took way too long to spool up and down for power. The British also had the Meteor and the US was already testing the P/F-80 Shooting Star, which was vastly more practical and reliable and would have out-dueled a Me262...

The only problem is that nobody knew it was "stealth" until after WWII, and like the US "flying wing" it was uncontrollable until the advent of computers and fly-by-wire..

Yes they were ahead, but the Allies also had radio guided weapons and used worn-out bombers as radio guided "cruise missiles"...

Not a "missile" per-say but a torpedo that was largely useless and easily defeated. Oh, edit there, the air-to-air missile that was stupid because using a wire-guided missile as an AAM is really kind of stupid. It never was used...

Still useless...

And BTW, things like the FW TA-183 are just 'panzerfanboi' nonsense...

Germany couldn't make enough conventional aircraft piston-engines to make a true four engine bomber or maintain any sort of parity with the Allies, but somehow they were going to pull advanced jets out of their [censored] in 1946. Kay...

BTW, as I mentioned, they were still producing large numbers of obsolete Me-109s into April 1945...

Navy Reports Describe Encounters With Unexplained Flying Objects
Ralph Blumenthal and Leslie Kean

The New York TimesMay 15, 2020, 8:22 AM EDT

Navy fighter pilots reported close encounters with unidentified aerial vehicles, including several dangerously close, in eight incidents between June 27, 2013, and Feb. 13, 2019, according to documents recently released by the Navy.

Two happened on one day, according to one of eight unclassified Navy safety reports released in response to requests filed under the Freedom of Information Act by news outlets, including The New York Times.

Last month the Defense Department authenticated three videos of aerial encounters previously published by the Times, accompanying accounts of Navy pilots who reported such close encounters.

The incidents in the videos were investigated by a little-known Pentagon program that for years looked into reports of unidentified flying objects: the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program. The existence of the office was first reported by the Times in December 2017.

While some of the encounters have been reported publicly before, the Freedom of Act releases include the Navy's official records documenting the incidents, including descriptions from the pilots of what they saw.

The Navy records, known as "hazard reports," describe both visual and radar sightings, including close calls with the aerial vehicles, or "unmanned aircraft systems."

One incident, on March 26, 2014, over the Atlantic Ocean off Virginia Beach, Virginia, involved a silver object "approximately the size of a suitcase" that was trac]ked on radar passing within 1,000 feet of one of the jets, according to the report.

Some of the incidents involved fighter squadrons aboard the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt. One of the former F/A-18 Super Hornet pilots, Lt. Ryan Graves, last year described a close encounter off Virginia Beach with what looked like a flying sphere encasing a cube, as recounted by a fellow pilot and later reported to the squadron safety officer.

The incident was documented in a report with few details on June 27, 2013, which stated that the Navy jet crew saw something pass about 200 feet away on the right side. With a visible smoke plume emitting from the rear section, "the aircraft was white in color and approximately the size and shape of a drone or missile," according to the report.

No other agencies were conducting drone flights or missile launches in the area at that time, the report said. "Unmanned aerial vehicles represent a significant midair collision threat," the commanding officer reported.

The incidents included more than just that squadron, the VFA-11 "Red Rippers" out of Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia. The documents show that the commanders took the incidents seriously, warning of the likelihood of a midair collision.

Defense Department officials do not describe the objects as extraterrestrial, and experts emphasize that earthly explanations can generally be found for such incidents. Even lacking a plausible terrestrial explanation does not make an extraterrestrial one likely, astrophysicists say.

In interviews, five of the pilots involved avoided speculating on the source of the objects. The Navy, in its reports, also avoided any such conjecture.

Three incidents occurred within exclusive use airspace, meaning no other aircraft were authorized to fly in that area.

Another report on an incident on Nov. 18, 2013, expressed alarm. "Due to their small size, many UASs are less visually significant and radar-apparent and therefore pose a significant risk for midair collision," the report said, using an abbreviation for unmanned aircraft systems.

Less than a month later, a pilot who had been assured there was no traffic in his area detected a radar track at an altitude of 12,000 feet and less than 1 mile away. "He was able to identify a small white visual return at the location of the radar track," the report said.

A "near midair" collision report from March 26, 2014, also in exclusive use airspace, involved two F/A-18E Super Hornet aircraft from squadron VFA-106. One pilot closed in and reported seeing a small, silver, metallic object the size of a suitcase. "Pilot passed within 1,000 feet of the object. Could not identify it," the report says.

The pilot passed the information to the local Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facility, which had received multiple sighting reports in recent months. "This presents a significant safety concern, given that this unknown aircraft was detected in an exclusive use area," the commanding officer stated. "I feel it may only be a matter of time before one of our F/A-18 aircraft has a midair collision with an unidentified UAS."

On April 23, 2014, two objects were tracked on radar, not communicating, and two other relatively small objects were observed at the same time flying at high speed off the coast of Virginia, another report states. The events were said to pose "a severe threat to naval aviation."

"It is only a matter of time before this results in a midair in W-72," the report said, using the airspace designation. "This was the squadron's second occurrence in the last 10 months."

The most recent incident included in the Freedom of Information Act documents did not appear to be related to an unidentified flying object. On Feb. 13, 2019, a red weather balloon was spotted at 27,000 feet by four aircraft when none were supposed to be in the area. The report concluded "weather balloon released without notifying the appropriate channels."
