butter vs. margarine

Butter is better for you, tastes better (to me), and, if you remove the milk solids, clarified butter tolerates heat better than any vegetable (unsaturated) oil, so it is great for cooking.

Was that sentence too long?

Food cooked with clarified butter tastes better too.

Olive oil is great, but for cold use. I pour it on at the table.

I have frozen butter before, and it turned out fine after defrosting.

We use about a pound of butter a week, with three butter consumers.
