Doors meet up with the body when the vehicle when it’s 50-75% assembled. I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more honestly.

A friend of mine who owns several Corvettes has a 1975 Corvette he bought brand new in his collection. It was painted the same color however half the car was miss-matched terribly. The drinkers half of the car didn't quite match the drivers side. He bought it at a good discount and still has the car and never had it repainted. It is a very low mileage coupe and he still owns it. Strange things get passed at the factory at times.

When I was shopping GLIs one had a “r line” badge on the fender instead of GLI.

I had a new 2017 or so HD RAM prep that had both a dual transfer case selector and manual lever

a wk grand Cherokee prep probably 05 or 06 prep that had the chrome trim in one side and black on the other

a wk2 grand Cherokee prep that had the 3.6 but some reason had a diesel badge on the tailgate

those are the few off my head I can think over the years

I know of one Fiesta ST that was missing the stability control defeat button. Of course the dealer’s initial gambit was to argue that the car didn’t have one. Fortunately there was another ST on the lot that had the button, so the dealer reluctantly installed one- although if it was actually plugged in to a harness was still an open question.
