Brake parts cleaner onto a Hornets Nest?🐝

Hornets are evil and will actually chase you. I was about 7 when I FAFOed this theory by shoving a stick into a huge paper nest and running like hell. Thought I was safe by "hiding" on the back porch. Nope, they found me. Got stung a few times. Don't mess around, get the right stuff for an instant kill.

Here is an optional method:

I recently had hornets (or similar) under the front step to house.
Over two weeks I sprayed them using 'hornet killer' (during the day) but they kept coming back.
Finaly, I sprayed them at sunset .... they're NOT back yet.

I suggest, use the right product, and read the instructions.
Always have an 'extra' can of hornet/wasp spray in your garage.

wasp spray is for immediate death works ok on nests right out in the open.
for a hidden nest(inside house exterior, underground etc) there can be better stuff to use..
powder and regular insecticide that takes a day or so.

Brake cleaner might be ok for a small nest but would be hard on anything you missed and hit.
ruining paint, plastic etc

If you attempt during daylight you will get stung. All nests have “soldiers” close by ready to attack. They all roost on the nest after the sun goes down. The foaming wasp spray is best.

Ran out of long reach spray pesticide and the local hardware store has it on backorder.... I got tons of Brakekleen. Should kill them instantly, right?
WHY traps found at your local hardware store. Hang it near the nest and it attracts them.
