Brad-Penn now has a 0W-20 syn oil!

Brad Penn, made by America's Refining Group, has just come out with a full-synthetic 0W-20 oil. Listing is so new specs aren't out on it yet, but I'll post the as soon as I see them.

The people formerly known as Kendell (before Conoco-Phillips bought them)...

They are more known for hi-performance oils.

Haven't even seen the specs yet, but I'm thinking a blend: 'Penngrade-1' 0w30 and the new 0W-20...make a low visc. 0w30 with high Zn and P!

IF the V.I. is at least 'mid-level', and not grossly low (like many 0W-20s on the market), I would consider it as well.

Brad Penn specializes in high-zddp oils. There aren't very many 0w30's out there with 1340ppm Phosphorous, and with sufficient TBN to do normal OCI's. It has a respectable VI of 170, even though it's only a partial synthetic. One thing keeping me from using it is a low flash point of 385F.
