The ten speed in my 2023 Silverado is the best transmission I have ever owned. Frequently tows a 5,000 pound travel trailer up mountain passes between 5,000 and 10,000 feet-yes you read that right.

I have a few L3B trucks. Switched them all over to M1 0w/40 ESP to possibly ward off valvetrain issues.... About the only issue this platform has.
It REALLY quieted down the whole engine. ZERO hit in fuel economy.

I gotta say - just drained dealer 0W-20 for Mobil 1 AC in 5W-30 and the L84 is very quiet …
The 10L is the smoothest and coolest running AT that I have owned - and the TCM is updated for surveillance …
