This one run ~5400 mi. in 13 months with Mobil 1 EP 0w20 on a 2.4L Honda. For those interested in Honda MM/OLM reading, @ 50%. Replaced with a CQ Prem. and Castrol GTX Full Synthetic 0w20. Once again results here typical for the BP 3323 I've c&p. Still have a couple left but thought I'd change it up with the CQ. Every once in a while, Amazon will have a $2 coupon clip on the virtual clone PL14610 making it same price range as the current CQ, I'll get one.

Looks great! Obviously not the Mexico COO. I do wonder if the PL14610 may no longer be a clone since Bosch moved this model to Mexico & Purolator making a good chunk of their filters in USA. If PL14610 has USA COO stock up again. :)(y)
Thanks for sharing your Honda's oil filter.

.... If PL14610 has USA COO stock up again....
I have one here purchased with $2 coupon I mentioned, made November of 24 in US. Unlike the topic filter, the PL coo hasn't changed. Never will get a deal on it though like I got at RA with topic filters. Settle for getting one every once in a while, in the CQ price range.

That adbv looks like it just came out of the mold...
Yep, that's the way the silicone adbv on these look post use. Wipe the oil off, look like new and still very pliable. Good for significantly longer than ~5.5k miles here.

Awesome, that confirms it then. Thanks
The used media on your 3323's always looks pretty clean too.

Very nice and did you catch the date code?

Found one of these in the garage. USA made. There is a dent on the top dome. Is this anything to be worried about? I'm thinking not, but wouldn't mind confirmation.

You have the cleanest C&P.
I try. I realize that when it comes to Puro filters, there's areas viewers want to see. I try to make them as clear as I can for viewing.

I'd say it depends on how bad, deep or sharp the dent. I've used one of these before with a minor impression (from shipping) on the dome, no issue. Without a pic, difficult to say definitely, but if you shake/twist the can and no sound that's a good sign. Beyond that, if still in real doubt about it, best to pass on using.

US made filter was good, used a bunch of them. Then I got a batch of MX made ones and had to throw them away after inspecting....
Yep, not the same filter now. I wouldn't even consider using one. I doubt Bosch cares, but rather an embarrassment to have their name on it now. And still calling it "Premium",. Glad I grabbed second order of 6 US made from RA just before the change in coo.

Thanks for posting. Roughly how much media area? I’m trying get a feel for the range of media area in that can size.

.......Roughly how much media area?
Media area not something I do standard practice with c&p. I'll just say in my observation of the 14610/7317 application size, it's plenty. As my vehicles well maintained, holding capacity not a concern for me. As an aside, in the past used many OG Wix/(Napa Gold) label 5/7356 with thread/base end bypass piece, had significantly less area than topic, and never concerned me. Posted c&p always looked good.

That's reasonable. I need to guard that my curiosity with relative differences in media area doesn't lead me astray. It quite possible for a lower-area filter to perform quite well if the media is good.

The Bosch surely looks well-made.

Media area can be calculated without removing the media from the filter by just measuring the pleat depth and length.

Use a thin scale like this metal scale to get the pleat depth.
