Yes made is Mexico.

I have 2 Napa Gold filters that I’ll use next. But if I’ll definitely buy these again. They’re like under 4 dollars on rock auto. So if you buy a few at a time with shipping they’re fairly cheap for what I think you’re getting.

Topic appears much better than the virgin hencho in Mexico BP OF I recently saw cut open on youtube. That one looks really sloppily made. So, that good news here. Still unfortunate the coo for the Bosch Premium has changed from US made. Fortunately, I have a nice stash of the latter left, purchased from RA.

This one looks like it got the job done at 3400mi. Thanks for c&p.

Yea I saw that video also. This is the 3rd one I have cut open but the 1st I’ve posted. They have all looked the same. I’m think the one on YouTube must have just been a fluke.

"Fluke" is a possibility, can't rule it out. Went back and watched again, to remind me of the issues. Poor pleat spacing uniformity, some angled pleats at ends, and noticeably sloppy glue job including seam pleat. I don't see those issues in topic pics, so perhaps there has been an improvement in QC. Imo, must have gotten a better deal on manufacturing costs south of the border.
