Bosch Premium (US) 3323, cut open.

US made filter was good, used a bunch of them. Then I got a batch of MX made ones and had to throw them away after inspecting and cutting one open to confirm louvers were barely open or closed.
^^^^This! And metal shavings from the thread cutting. MX made ones are horrible compared to what the OP showed.

Louvers near perfect on two Bosch 3325 I just bought, even, small glue bead inside, looks great. So Purolator red, Bosch, or Toyota soon to replace Ultra. I keep putting oil change off week after week, annoyed at that. One more old Ultra for another car and that’s the end of those.

I'd say it depends on how bad, deep or sharp the dent. I've used one of these before with a minor impression (from shipping) on the dome, no issue. Without a pic, difficult to say definitely, but if you shake/twist the can and no sound that's a good sign. Beyond that, if still in real doubt about it, best to pass on using.

Dent the size of a thumb nail, maybe 1/4" deep. Used a glue-on dent puller, and got it out!

I'd buy more of these filters if they were still made in USA.

Amazon lists the Bosch 3323 as USA made. Is this old information?
The coo listing information on Amazon not updated. As the 1star reviews confirm and as noted several times this thread, no longer US made.
