Bosch 3311 Premium Cut open

Media vanes look good no cuts no tares. This is with Castrol Gold Jugs 5w30 the OCI is 7156 miles. The Corolla used a half a quart during this OCI.
I have shipped an Oil sample to the Wix people this morning.

The media wasn't really very dark.

A peak inside the filter.

I recognize the bypass valve design. Kinda looks like Purolator.

A couple years I'd say I picked it up on a NAPA sale two years ago. It was on the car since last July 18th.

That is a well made filter to me
The oil does not even appear dirty on the filter
I bet that oil and filter could go out to 10k miles without a worry

Made Sept. 2008. An oldie goldie. Has the Filtech (media) name on it.

Those were old blue-can Purolator Pure Ones with a different paint job.

Yeah, I saw the bypass and knew it was a puro, but the holes meant it was a little older one. 2008 was in the prime of Purolator.
