Like said before...if your trans dies at 108k that was it's lifetime and if the oil was still in there then it was "lifetime fluid".

If it is a ZF trans...go on the ZF website and download their approved lubricants pdf file and see what fluid is approved. Mobil1 MV ATF and Castrol Import MV ATF are on the list for many.
 
Redline D4 should work like a charm!Have you checked the label on Dex VI products. Take a look at the label on the Walmart brand Dex VI I would be surprised if it did not meet ZF requirements along with a host of other's. I know Warren Multi-Vechile Synthetic ATF meets all kind of Euro and Domestic transmission requirements!

Gm's Dex-VI is one of the best bangs for the buck one can get especially since you can by Generic at Walmart and all Dex VI products have to use the same additive package from just one supplier!
