Last time I checked, FRAM was still using cardboard end caps on the filter, rather than metal as everyone else does. Now, some people claim that the cardboard is stiffer than the paper filter anyway, so they doubt it's the weak link in an oil filter. Still, if they're willing to cut corners like that, what does it say about the rest of the filter?
FRAM is also the only manufacturer to have an NHTSA recall on it's filters. Many years ago, and on a motorcycle filter fitment, but still...
AC Delco would be a safe bet for your truck. If you want "the best," you'd be looking at a filter with synthetic media. Mobil 1, K&N, and perhaps a few others.
Ditto everyone elses comments about the lunacy of running 20W50 in a modern motor. Maybe in your grandfather's Edsel, but certainly nothing made in the last 10 years.
