New Premium Guard PG4651EX made in Vietnam. I think it looks really good. The part missing on the adbv is from where I burned it to make sure it was a silicone valve. Compared to other FL820s alternatives this is probably one of the best I've seen.

Is the Mobil1 or Wix XP any good anymore? They used to be great!

Wix XP are not a good filter for catching small particles, Mobil 1 and Champ XL are way better.

Mobil1 EP & Puralator BOSS are top notch filters still today.

I’ve ran a fair amount of champ xls and Bosch exclusively on my 2018 from new. Never an issue. I’m now setting on a couple dozen parts plus standards. If I decide to run my oil 10k, I’ll change the filter every 5k. A huge % of the cars on the road are running the cheapest filter a quick lube can slap on them.

I was a champ xl guy (and before that a Fram Ultra guy) now moved onto PG based stuff. Best value, great, consistent quality.

I’m considering purchasing oil filters in bulk since it’s more cost-effective. With all the recent mergers in the industry, I’m unsure which brands are still reputable. I’m leaning toward WIX but would appreciate some additional opinions. I’ve attached a screenshot of the oil filters available on Rock Auto, and I’m looking for insights on the best filter to use for my 3.8 V6 engine.

RA used to list their filter efficiency they stopped, and I stopped buying their filters.
