“Best” fluid for Transfer Case in 2016 Ford F-250

Just an FYI for context, but the viscosity range of 75w gear oil overlaps the 10 and 20 weight motor oil viscosity ranges.

I would propose that either HPL Manual Transmission Life 75W75 @7.1 cSt or the Redline Power Steering Fluid would provide the needed wear protection.

Just to add, because it's mentioned in the fist post, I've had excellent results with JD HyGard in manual transmissions and transfer cases. If it's easily available, priced right, I'd certainly give it a go.

Ok, it's your transfer case but I was asked to comment. I am not looking for a new TC fluid.

As I understand it NP/NV didn't make the reco of motor oil but rather "aftermarket" orgs like ATSG etc. I may very well be mistaken there, though.

Funny enough, I can't find anywhere to actually BUY the HPL; it's listed on their site but not for sale on their distributor's site.
