in some other places on this site i ask why ask for oil to us. but i ask what clearances do you have. with out telling what mine is. cam bearing clearance .001-.003 in. rod bearing clearance .0005-.0022 in. main bearing clearance .0005-.0015 in no 1 .0005-.0020 in no 2-4. on a stock 2001 dakota v-6. i use valvoline premium blue diesel 15w40. am starting to use purolator synthetic oil filter, psl14670. 42 trans stock. 4.1 rear end. ampco st400 mmo oiler. www.ampcolubes.com

those are some really neat looking oilers
yep i use a oiler to lube the intake manifold, and ad 2 oz mmo in tank for ea 10 gal of gas. i wanted to use the metal 2 gal one but i didnt have room. i talked to the guy that sells the them, he says that when adjusting them a little is a lot. i just found a non-alcohol gas station. have ran only 3 half tanks so far, ill need about 4-5 half tanks to see if it helps.
