Bar soap: which one do you use?

I do my own soap at home. With the lavender essential oil https://volant.dk/ and camomile extract. I tried do make it at first just for fun but after got addicted to it. My skin feels much better than it was when i used the supermarket soap bars.
I was buying soap locally, but decided I wanted to try it myself. I bought molds, cutters, oil, lye and went at it. It took me a couple of tries to get a result I like. I have it down now. Problem now is I like making more soap than I can use. I make ten bars at a time and it is warm weather activity for me. 100 degree days work great for warming the oil and cooling the lye mixture.

Over the last year or so I started using this local brand that is made in Shelbyville, Indiana called Bass Farms. Specializes in goats milk products. My wife is big into their lotions, so anytime we’d be at a shop that carries their stuff, I’d pick up a bar or two of their goats milk bar soap. I’d typically use Ivory or Kirk’s, but this doesn’t leave my skin itchy like the other two did. She liked it so much that we opened up an 8x8 booth at a vendor mall in Brownsburg, Indiana and became a retailer.

Including the drains. Bar soap seems to harden up there also. I guess it's the fats in the bar soap.
When I worked at a resteraunt a company used to come and pick up our old deep fry grease. The manager said they use it to make soap.

Old fashioned lye soap just like my Granny used to make.

Four ingredients. Water, lard, coconut oil and sodium hydroxide. Gentle and naturally moisturizing. It doesn't leave hard soap scum in the shower either.

I make two pounds at a time in a crock pot for about $6.00.

I certainly don't buy soap from department stores or supermarkets because most contain so many harmful ingredients. My sister discovered half a year ago a brand that produces soaps from essential oils, something like this. After the first wash, my skin became so velvety and smooth. With these soaps, my skin is not as dry as it used to be, and even if I wash with it at any time, my skin will be hydrated. Even my husband uses these soap bars; he likes the Lavanda flavor the most, but he was okay with using a cheap soap bar from the supermarket in the past. Now, he felt the difference.
