Radio jingle from the '80s: "Sooner or later . . . you'll own Generals!" I hadn't realized they went this far back. That extra $4.00 for a set of 4 tires would equate to, what, $60 today?

I just love old ads from the 30's, 40's, and early 50's when they did not use cameras to just snap a picture. The rumble seat, big hats, wide whitewalls, and wow, a slit skirt showing those legs. Something for 1938.
