I know my engine is super clean, but am thinking about the unseen ring pack area, which is critical.
In a case like this, is it smart to use Auto Rx only as a maintenance dose of 3 oz. per crankcase? What I mean is not performing the total fill and flush , but just adding a bit to normal oil changes?
So far, it seems like a plan to me, but maybe someone here has a better handle on this subject.

Thanks!

yes, indeed.

I've already started my rigid regimen of using maintenance dose of AutoRx with my newly bought fit, and hopefully my engine will outlast my car's body structure...

*grin*

How many miles are on your vehicle? If it is higher than say 25,000 miles, I'd suggest a full Auto Rx treatment. The "maintenance dose" is outstanding at keeping your engine clean, but I like to start from "ground zero" and keep it clean.

As stated before, the ARX process could be be used driving a car off the lot! 10 to 1 you are fine.

Look on the ARX site here.

I've been thinking about doing this on the '07 SX4 w/6700 miles... Oh no!

I would be very interested to see a before and after Auto-Rx compression test, on a low-mileage vehicle.

Thanks.
What I had previously gathered is that most recommend a full treatment first.
I gonna try a few ounces with each oil change.

Again, if you have relatively low mileage (less than 25k), you should be fine just starting the maintenance dose. 3 ounces of Auto Rx, with each oil change, is the recommendation.
