Auto-Rx and 10w40

I currently have 10w40 in the Taurus with 160k. I am planning on starting a Auto-Rx treatment. Will it be ok with the 10w40?

10W40 Should be fine. What does the Taurus manual say is the recommended oil?

If it's a conventional 10W-40, it will work fine. Later, you may want to switch to a 10w30 or 5w30 for better fuel economy. The Taurus will do fine with a 30 wt.

That Vulcan 3.0 OHV engine runs fine on just about any 30wt oil unless consumption is an issue. 10w-40 won't hurt it, either.
