Triax Lubricants

Here are a few previous threads on this brand, some of these may have lists of other threads. There are many, many more than these.

A well known obfuscator of approvals and licenses. Some sheets claim they "meet" or are suitable for approvals that are mutually exclusive and cannot be met at the same time.

I’m looking for 90% less cam wear since Mopar are waitlisted 👀

I am searching for a quality oil for my new motorcycle and came across Triax. Who knows anything about this company? I have been using factory Kawasaki full syth 10w40 as recommended. Looking at my owners manual, looks like the 10w40 is operating right at its max recommended temp here in FL. Been contemplating moving to Mobil 1 20w50 but see that it is marketed as for V-Twin engines. Whats the difference or is it simply that the v-twins tend to run hotter? Anyhow, Stick with the Kawasaki 10w40, swap to Mobil 10w40, or 20w50, or is the Triax a better oil than those other two? Thanks for the thoughts.

I've used their gear oil for 37k so far and nothing to note. Seems to work for me. I'd try their motor oil no problem. They are using good base oils from Shell & a nice add pack.

I guess I’m just a little too stuck on competence and make the leap that it applies to other areas.
