ATF Blenders And Bottle Design

Happy 4th of July!


Trying to figure out the blender of this Cvt fluid, Some quarts of ATF are easy to figure out the manufacturer and some you can’t really tell.

I have a few quarts of Mitsubishi genuine J4 Cvt fluid and looking at the bottle I can’t figure out the blender of this fluid, Sone say Idemitsu or Eneos is the blender but I could be wrong, Jatco in Japan manufacture the Cvt transmissions for Nissan, Mitsubishi and other car manufacturers and JX Nippon oil company blend Eneos fluids.

On the bottom, under the "20A...." is a symbol. That's probably your best clue. It does look vaguely familiar....

Whomever they had a blending contract at the time of bottling.

I’m leaning towards it being Eneos…

Looks possibly like their container style.
