They don't bother anyone or pollute? That is literally all they do!No problem with them. It's just a building. Where I live we have buildings from GM, Amazon, Meijer warehouses even a new LG battery plant. They don't bother anyone. They don't pollute. They don't yell get of my lawn when I drive by. My opinion? People just need to be offended by something these days and they don't feel whole unless others see them as a victim.

Yes please.Unfortunately in this data age they are a necessary evil. Unless you want to take computing back twenty years.
How do they pollute? It's just a bunch of electronics, cooling towers and electricity. The only type of plant that I wouldn't like right next to a neighborhood would be a metal stamping plant but even then modern presses are super quiet and low vibration. They don't bother anyone or pollute? With the building explosion of data centers are you for or against them?
I am against them. They are noisy, use lots of water and too much power.
I am also afraid of the A.I that comes with it.
Your thoughts?
Their power demand increases GHG emissions from the power generator. AI companies are aware of this so they're looking to take advantage of nuclear when possible. How do they pollute? There is a place for things. I'm sure you love oil and gas, but likely don't want a refinery next door. I think a data center wouldn't be any more imposing than a large warehouse. So it can go in an industrial area of town.I love that people are for them as long as they are in someone else’s backyard.
