I have AT&T for over ten years now. I have coverage everywhere. Whenever I've had a problem, I call them and they fix it right away. If I need my SIM card changed, they tell me to go to a (company) AT&T store where they change the SIM card no cost to me.
That being said, I have two iPhone5's and one Motorola SLVR L9. The L9 is used only for voice calls.
I do not send or receive texts. The i5's are used mostly for data (and personal hotspot) plus voice calls.
With AT&T I'm presently limited to 5gigs on each i5.
Just checked with my local (corporate) AT&T store as they started offering unlimited talk, unlimited texts and 10gigs of data and it will cost me $25 less per month than I'm presently paying. They tried to sign me up right the. And there, but I will wait a while, do the math, check the taxes and fees (and perhaps drop my L9) before I decide what to do.
I love my L9 and can't find any for sale on the net, so if something happens to it, I guess I'll just have to drop down to two smart phones).
BTW, because AT&T uses the GSM System, whenever I go to Europe, I get off the plane, switch the phone on and I'm connected with (in France) Orange or BiTel or F-SFR, or with ( in Italy) Wind or Vodafone. Yes, I pay more when in Europe but worth it. If I'm going to be in Europe more than a week, I just bring along one of my Motorola. V400 phones, then purchase a French or Italian or British SIM card and the calls are cheaper.
I admit that years ago, AT&T customer service sucked, but not anymore. Up until I got my iPhones, I used up connect my PC with a Verizon "Air Card" but their customer service went from very good to very bad. That is why I went with AT&T.
