Are you a Super Bowl Party person?

I will check the score occasionally . Might watch the last few minutes if it's close . I have other things to do .

A friend has been hosting a SB party since '98. Its a bunch of us who used to work together (9-10), though that has changed with a few additions. It was off last year due to the bug and side reason which can't be talked about here. Nothing crazy...and its probably an equal reason of getting together to catch up as watching the game.

Although I don't watch much NFL anymore, I do like to watch the playoffs. Don't like parties as you miss what is really going on in the game. Like to watch the game by myself, see momentum swings, trends etc. Having said that, I will go to some friends for the first half and leave at halftime.

If it doesn't burn fossil fuel, I don't like it. I had no idea who was playing until last night when my wife mentioned it.

No the Jets aren't in it.

I enjoy the playoffs but lose interest in the Superbowl. I will be watching something else with brief S.B. visits just to see the score. Certainly not a Superbowl party person.

I just read that in honor of the United States Air Force 75th anniversary, they are going to have a flyover containing a P-51, F-22, F-35, and two other undisclosed aircraft. Should be during the National Anthem (which probably won't be televised on the main broadcast.). :(

No. I might watch it, but nothing special here. We don't cook anything special for it, don't have any sort of guests over, and don't go to parties for it.

No party but I’ll be watching. I don’t think I’ve missed watching the Super Bowl in the last 50 plus years. Go Bengals! 🐯

What is this? Second year in a row no Patriots in Super Bowl? What is this world coming to??
I was NOT dreaming; the announcer actually brought up New England once and Tom Brady at least twice. I was not paying any attention, so I had no idea if the announcer was so used to having those names every year, that it was just reflexive action on his part. I do not know what was the context but I found it funny.

Anybody knows where is the Super Bowl next year? For hundred years (!) no host team ever won it in their own stadium and suddenly two years in a row that happens! NFL is rigged :)

My wife finds it to be a nice excuse to make wings and a good dip.

We don't watch the game but do watch the halftime show.

This evening I went to Kroger for the first half of the game and was far more excited with my purchases than watching those two teams play each other.

The Super Bowl is a great time to go food shopping because no one is around and tons of fresh items are on clearance.

Digital coupons + Ibotta + weekly mailings + fruit on clearance + Kroger credit card = Half price

Got back just in time for the heavily lip synched halftime show.

6 Red Barron Pizzas ($11.86)
3 pounds of bananas, ($1.17)
32 oz. yogurt, ($1.49)
2 avocados (.94)
$15.46... the lowest out the door price since Y2K.

I guess the Super Bowl is good for something!
