Are you a Super Bowl Party person?

Some are really into it and love being around others to watch the game. They go all out on food and such. I on the other hand could usually care less who plays in it and usually only watch some of it.

So how are you?

Sure, especially this year. Usually just wings & stuff, nothing too crazy. Aviation is a good section to have this post in, if the Bengals (continue to) freak out & win, it won't be safe for low level aircraft around here for a few days!

I don't watch sports, nothing against those that do. Just seems pointless except for the money gleaned from fans.

My wife and I will have our own party at home today. It's a combination Super Bowl and Valentine's Day festivities.

People watch sports for different reasons. Mostly is a distraction from the daily reminders of our own mortality. I have a bet on the coin toss. Come on heads!

I don’t have live TV. We will be getting some junk food like wings, chips, dip etc and watch something else. Quit drinking and partying a few years ago. Boring, I know

Brother is in AZ, he is into it, he just bailed from the LA area last year.
Me? Don't care, but I'll watch a bit of it in between watching YewToob tube videos of engine rebuilds and old car test drives. Checking out mid 60's Mercury's with the (almost) famous marauder BB V8. Classic car bargains at this point. Hard to beat anything mid sixties.

Not into partying. We don’t watch it or do anything special for it. We went to one super bowl party one time that was 2013 at my church. I think it was the Ravens and someone else playing but I didn’t watch the game I was just there for the food lol.

I'm usually working for the overadvertised halftime show which accompanies the overblown hype and 2x 30-minute turf war.

But not this year, and friends have invited us over...so I will sample the party.
