It most certainly does not sound like a cry for attention.
Jeff enjoys talking about Elon and Tesla. They they can be controversial.
Jeff is one of the more thoughtful and interesting posters on the forum.
I believe his "public apology" is the result of a private conversation that Jeff and I had.
So, in public, and for the record, let me state that Jeff owes no one here an apology.
On the contrary, I owe him one, for my failure to correctly understand Jeff's posts, and the subsequent conversation, in which he was a gentleman and a professional. I was wrong. Jeff was kind enough to treat me decently.
I thank everyone in advance for their understanding.
