If it was me, I'd prob buy some of the same oil and mix it in a quart at a time just to be safe until your done with it.

I have some old Mobil1 SJ that I am probably gonna use in my wife's car. It is far out of warranty but the owners manual calls for API SL 5w-20. (I don't want to start the 20 vs 30 battle here) Anyway, I can't imagine that it would hurt anything to run the SJ oil in this engine, but I am here to ask others opinions.
