Anywhere to buy "bulk" distilled water?

Drinkable tap water has minerals and possibly chlorine. If you flush with that, some will stay in the block as it does not all drain out. Only use water without minerals for filling and flushing.
Some things matter. Some things don’t. From the 2020 Chev Silverado owners manual. I use distilled water only for the final flush and even so that’s really just over kill. Admittedly we are Bitogers so carry on. :)

Yep, that’s why I like GM’s take. Pour yourself a glass and see if you are OK drinking it. If not, don’t put it in your rad. ;)
It is due to the coolant GM uses. Dexcool is phosphate free so it is less sensitive to water quality.

We’re going down a rabbit hole here. From my post #21, I use distilled water for the final flush only. Power on and flush with whatever you want. ;)
It is not a rabbit hole. Phosphate-free antifreezes are known to be less sensitive to water quality which is why GM does not require distilled water.

NO spring water, it contains minerals that can clog radiators. Distilled or RO water. If you are really cheap, you can use the condensation that drips out of your home air conditioner, or rain water. minerals generally don't go up into the air so water coming out of the air should be fine to use.
Wow.... Its not a brand new
