Like something few people have heard of?

Most of us have probably heard of it, but almost everyone I know says Kendall who?

Gimme some brands! Whatduya got?

I put Royal Purple 5W-20 SM in a car i had and i really think it was the perfect oil for that car. Second choice woulda been Redline 0W-20. Key word: AVAILABILITY. One was 4 miles away the other mail order. Thats always been a big thing for me.

I can honestly say my car LOVED that oil. Engine seemed a little hotter perhaps, sure, but that may not have been a real observation.

"People" "HATE" Royal Purple. I am not one of those people. Give me RP 0W-40 even SN and im good. Or 5W-20 or 0W-20 SN. Its fine. Slight pref for 0W but if its hot out or above freezing i dont care..

I can only think of weird oils like "SporTek Ultra Snow" oil I got for OPE equipment.

It was 5w30 though so it went in as top-off.

My truck had MFA oil in it when I bought it. Apparently Big O tires has it in their bulk tanks. I had only seen it in quarts and jugs at the store before.

In our daily drivers, I use Conklin's Convoy, which is a group II/IV blend. Excellent oil.

Amsoil comes to mind immediately. Surprisingly, it seems more people in Wisconsin are familiar with Schaeffer's products and have no clue what amsoil is!

I'm sure most of John Q. Public has no idea of the "boutique" brands out there like Redline, Brad Penn, Royal Purple and the one's I've already mentioned. They're probably looking for what's readily available for a decent price.

Last week I uncovered a case of Wolf pcmo. Not to be confused with Wolfs head. Looks like it is completely different. Mabe by the Wolf oil company. I have no idea where it came from.

That's Missouri Farmers Association (a co-op). Only in MO probably?

^^This is my problem right here. Walmart (the only semi-affordable place to buy oil) is getting to where they only carry CAFE oils. Anything slightly off beat, and you have to mail order it,paying shipping, thus making it even more expensive. And in this day and time,EVERY dollar counts!

And shipping costs are getting to be ridiculous!
