^^This is my problem right here. Walmart (the only semi-affordable place to buy oil) is getting to where they only carry CAFE oils. Anything slightly off beat, and you have to mail order it,paying shipping, thus making it even more expensive. And in this day and time,EVERY dollar counts!

+1, but last i saw you can get Royal Purple 5w30 and 10w30 (only) at WM, and the other grades at Advance for the same price?

Walmart has become my oil source as well, so the "oddballs" MAY fade out. idk.

In Bradenton Florida one bulk oil distributor fills tanks with Fina 10w30, and sells a variety of Total synthetic oils by the bottle.

Fina/Total might be a major presence in Europe, but it is uncommon in the USA.

My wife's van is currently filled with STP 5w30. I think most STP gets sold as a top off oil, but I bought an OCI's worth on sale at Dollar General.

I'm going to do a UOA on it for giggles, but the VOA done by the PQIA was excellent.

That's Missouri Farmers Association (a co-op). Only in MO probably?

Based in Missouri but they also have locations in Iowa, Kansas, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Apparently they own several Big O and Jiffy Lube franchises in mid Missouri as well according to their website.

I'm using Snark 4w-27, because I feel that 30w is just slightly too thick for my engine, and the 4w gives me just that little bit extra when it comes to cold starts.

I have some Bardahl 50wt to use up in mny Harley.
