Anyone seen the new 2021 Ford Bronco in person?

Bronco Sport needs the EB 2.0t on all trim levels. Especially if the 8 speed is programmed like it is in the Escape 4 cyl. The big regular Bronco is nice and not too big. It is a tad tall and it's somewhat like a pickup getting in and out. It is a bit "over the top" for me.

The Bronco Sport is nice inside but small. The rear seating area reminds me of a X-tra Cab PU that has access doors, it is smallish. Kids will work that are out of car seats, but the area is small for rear facing car seats IMO.

Bronco Raptor released.

I am going to hold off for the Broncho Dialtor version.

I cant afford the FORD Truck, it cost over $1000/ month / 60 months and my 401K "play money" just took a big hit.

My brother in law has one , he works for Ford . He has the 4 door sport , think it's kinda the base model . IT'S TINY .

The four door Bronco sport is a Rebodied Ford ESCAPE unitbody CUV.
The Bronco is built on the Aussie Ranger T6 truck-base wich is full frame.
NO reason whatsoever for a 4 banger truck to cost over 40K. But Ford and dealers price it to what the market can bear.

I have no idea what he paid for it with his discount . I do know he is a little bit of a tight wad .

The sports are selling for high 20's to mid 30's in my area. They have a 1.5L Three Cylinder ecoboost engine !
I got my subcompact Ecosport ( a different and smaller car altogether) for $17K just before the shortage in January of last year.
That has a 166HP 2.0L 4 cylinder and a traditional 6 speed auto and AWD. And very poor gas mileage of about 22mpg in the Winter.
So no eco and no sport :) ... :(

Well he has the Big Bend Model I'm told . So small though .

One and a half years ago my neighbor had the new Bronco prototype off and on in his driveway for about a year, with all the camouflage, running tests. He was a work from home engineer with Ford Mo.

A coworker recently bought a new Bronco. Its nice to see body on frame, solid rear axle, styling cues and the removable hard top. Unfortunately it suffers from fords endless use of tech and complexity.

Are not all the new cars like that?

Better to commision the local body shop, and rebuild the early 70's classic. SBF Drivetarin is not costy and it would be a lot more fun, I bet.

Noisey 4 cylinder turbo in new a $50K+ trucklett ? Bahhh !

My last NEW short-box, std cab Silverado 4WD 5M w/t was under 18K out the door. Guaranteed more a Bronco Buster than this new piglet.
Still I'm calling the Ford distration flavour of the Month - but with a huge market, surprisingly
