Anyone seen the new 2021 Ford Bronco in person?

Frankly, the little sport looks to me like what the escape should get back to. That ~2008 body style, the boxier one, looked good to me and that’s what the sport looks like now. ...
It IS an escape re-bodied for "Truck Guys" !
Not looking at sales numbers, it appears Ford miscalculated evolving tastes in making the new Escape "Pretty like a Porsche Cayenne". Sort of proves that focus groups are all "yes men" and are not to be trusted.

The Ford Dealership I work for just got their first Bronco Friday Morning.

Man that thing is nice. $48k sticker doesn't seem too bad. Obviously, whoever ends up buying it or any Bronco, is going to be paying over sticker.

The one we got is a big bend with the sasquatch package, LED Headlights, Ford performance heavy-duty modular, and cargo area protector. It's Race Red on Medium Sandstone with Black Onyx cloth seats.

We can't sell it until it doesn't have 6k miles on it per Ford.

So, as of right now, it's going to be a service loaner and a car each salesman can take home.

We're probably going to add a bunch of accessories and whatnot to it before we sell it.

I saw one in the wild on Thursday. It was pretty awesome. Ford is going to sell millions of those things.

If they can actually get them produced, it seems like the Bronco is vaporware when it comes to mass production at this point, and deliveries are behind by a year or more.

Saw two "sports" recently and IMO, don't really like them. I bet a full sized one would look a bit better.
There are a couple around here … seems like a decent option over the “angry insect look” …
A body on frame SUV is getting quite expensive - so CUV’s are affordable to buy and fuel …

Had a four door behind me about a week ago in Area 51 grey. Looked good. Nice size, between a Wrangler and my 2 door Tahoe. After seeing the 4 door, really want to see a 2 door.

They made it look like a play car when it should look rugged.
I recognize it is quite capable, but the looks don't match.
The grill especially looks like its out of an animated kids movie and voiced by Seth Rogen.

Aren't they all. But this is good and well received Retro Modern with a big nod to its origin.
Plus it not a poseur SUV , its the real deal.

Be nice to get a SOHC truck version of a Coyote in it with a stick.

How about the over stylised bumpers on the Jeep Wrangler now? A Hideous mistake.

I looked at the Wrangler with both steel and plastic bumpers … found the steel to be even more obnoxious and the steel was flimsy anyway … So then, my intent was to get an aftermarket winch bumper … but I found a heavy frame mounted winch plate that worked with the cheap bumper

The new Broncos don’t impress me at all. 1.5 engine? Seriously?!

Plus not the most powerful “SUV”
That's not a Bronco that's a Bronco Sport with the 1.5.. Which is a Re-bodied Ford Escape.

The bigger Bronco is on a modified Ranger truck frame. Its not a Unibody CUV.

It's the real deal. It comes with a big Mustang 2.3L turbo 4 or the killer 2.7L turbo six.

aside: I'm not a Ford guy, though I'm driving one. But my CUV is a Euro Ford, very different than a domestic.
But it does have a Cleveland engine and a made in USA trans too!

The 1.5 T are making 3 litre V6 power, the 2.3 is making traditional small block V8 power,
and the turbo 6 is making Big block V8 power, For how long who knows. Aftermarket service contract ?

"I saved $1800 with CarShield, but it cost me $2200, so I guess I lost $400 with car shield !

I saw a white one parked near me. Nothing special I fail to see what the fuss is about. Only thing interesting about the one in that photo is its paint color. The background location is more appealing than the Bronco.

This is one of very few vehicles that I liked when seeing in pictures but wasn't all that impressed when I saw it in person. They are OK but they look more "unique" in pictures but far more generic in person. This isn't meant as a slam and I am not a Ford hater and I am looking forward to the Maverick.

^ that's how I felt about it. It's not quite as nice as I was expecting, but I still like it. For looks I'd give it a 7.5/10.

Ford mastered the art of marketng photos with the low camera angle photo (maybe taken by a guy laying prone in the dirt). Makes it look awesome and worshipful. But when you are standing in a library parking lot looking down at it, the Bronco seems unmpressive maybe not even noticeable by mist people. At first I thought it was a KIA.
