After watching this Scotty Kilmer vid, I decided to look into the cost of a set of these blades.
I checked out Rock Auto and was amazed that despite their large selection, they DO NOT provide them.

Skip to middle of vid where he talks of his Celica with 6 year old blades

They are priced pretty high for a set of blades, but considering may are able to get YEARS of use from a set, thought I'd give them a try.

Anyone else have these?

I like silicone blades especially the PIAA brand ones that comes with the Rain-X application in the blades and they work well. I usually get at least 4 years out of them so to me they are worth it.

Me too.

On both Volvos. Plus, refills are not nearly as expensive as the entire blade. Check Tire Rack's website.

Me neither. But considering how much $$ is made from the regular ones, why would they inform you of the option?

I had a pair. Forgot who made them.

Wasn't anything to brag about. They worked just as well as $5 anco. Didn't recall it lasting super long ( my normal average is about 8-12 months)
