Many Motorcycle riders use Rotella T6 5W-40 in their gas powered motorcycles. Shell has even added the JA MA approval to the T6 label to show that this HEDO oil is suitable for the wet clutch you find on many bikes.

I've had used Delo in a few older Mercedes I've worked on and they love the stuff. Ditto with a Nissan VG30E. When the weather warms up, I'm going to try running it in a Toyota V8 that saw 10w30 most of its life. Walmart stocks Rotella blend 10w30, but I can call a Chevron jobber for 10w30 Delo.

Now on to a bigger question. I see many HDEO extended interval drains in some diesel pickup tricks in the used oil analysis section. That said, why wouldn't someone be able to do a pretty extended interval with just a gas car and HDEO? I am very tempted to try this out, but I would not bother with a UAO since my cars are pretty old and I don't care much right now. If they were to die, I am just about at the point to buy new anyway. Any input on doing an extended interval on HDEO?

like I said in my previous post , I'm running AMSoil ACD (30-10/30) in my Blazers and the g/f Toy RAV4 out to 10K.most of that is NYC street/highway driven. I have used oil analysis post for both here.the RAV has quite a few there.
