Wix knows 61334 as a Partsmaster filter number. You'll note that the Wix filter that it matches is a 51334

Thanks. I had never heard of the Partsmaster brand. It sounds like they may have installed the incorrect oil filter for the vehicle.

Probably one size fits many. The spec's aren't all that much different. It's a common technique to reduce inventory and save $$ being tied up. Understand you're comparing it to what WIX says to put on there. Some lines probably don't carry every filter. The top filter has a slightly higher burst strength and bypass valve setting ..and is a bit finer in beta numbers. The secondary choice is also a good filter.

They probably don't offer a full line. Even Donaldson, which has diverse offerings ..doesn't xref to the prescribed WIX filter

Filter Guy may know of the AOA or Partsmaster lines.

Oil change on a 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander performed by a shop in rural Viriginia. The service record only states, AOA 61334 oil filter and 4 1/2 quarts PNZ 3610 (which I assume is Pennzoil, although I do not know the weight). Has anyone heard of this oil filter brand? Know who actually manufactures it?
