Anyone have a current-generation Land Rover Defender?

So like 99% of Jeeps and full-size pickups?

One thing I have notice since joining a few forums is that Land Rover enthusiasts are very much like Porsche enthusiasts.

A high percentage DIY almost everything and I dig that.
In my county Jeeps and full-size pickups are expensive niche, and also never seen them dirty either 😆 As as DIY of LR`s, seems like that is only reserved for older cars and old style Defender. Kudos to them though i suppose, natural habitat for those cars is a garage/workshop ;)

I enjoy watching a couple from Germany who have a YouTube channel called "LR time." It's amazing how deeply they dive into repairing all the Land Rovers they pick up. While not Defenders, it's still interesting to watch them work on what they have.

Found my Defender's little bro today:

Roofless, I read in a previous post that you were looking for 20 inch rims.. These are factory 20" rims on mine and I found a pic in my cell when I put 275/60/20 K03's on my truck last year. You might have to zoom in to see the fitment. No rubbing HTH

Nice, I'm planning on 275/55R20.

How's the noise with the expedition rack? I'm looking at storage options for trips. I have a Thule Canyon XT basket (with extension) and a Thule XXL roof box but I'm not sure if I should go with cross bars or the expedition rack. I also have a couple of nets and bags that I could use with a flat rack, and forgo the box or basket entirely.

No noise that I can hear, but if you go above 85mph you do get a little vibration. The tires are a little noisier than stock but I expected that. I put these tires on because I fish Quebec (road to Clova, Senneterre and other areas and hit a lot of logging roads and these are great after a hard rain for traction and such.

FYI the rack you see in back is when I haul my grandkids 2 trailbikes.
