I was strongly suspicious when I see JUST the big clutch fan on the front of my 4.3. I could be mistaken, but on other models of S10 with the 4.3 including and pre-1994, I thought I saw some electric fans behind the radiator, perhaps in addition to (or in lieu of) the large circulating fan that appeared to be a clutch fan.
My model did not appear to have those, but then again my radiator was in in such a way that the spinning fan impaled the radiator, thus trashing the engine. Could move by hand, no supports at all. THAT problem has been remedied, but..
Is it outside the realm of possibility that there are also supposed to be two electric fans, the famous Chevy ones that kick on at 220 degrees Fahrenheit, but were removed?
Not sure if this will be one of those that just gets hotter hotter, hotter when sitting in traffic..... and doesnt get cooler...
