Hi,

For my perfect running 2005 Elantra GLS sedan with 50300 miles,
is there really any difference in quality or gas mileage between
Motorcraft Syn Blend 5w30 and QS 5w30??

Will either one running perfectly fine and protect the same using
5000 OCI's?

Thanks

Motorcraft is nicely priced at $18.00 a jug at Wal-Mart. I like that it has 60% percent synthetic compared to only 15% to 30% as other Semi Synthetics.

QS Green bottle will do great in your Elantra for 4K / 5K mile OCI and run extremely smooth in that engine . I have a 2010 Elantra and so far of all the oils I have tried (including synthetic) QS Green bottle was noted to be smoothest running of all ! It is also about $6.00 cheaper than 5 qrt. jug of MC Syn Blend.

I remember it being around $13 or $14 not too long ago. Now it is up around $18, and I can't find in stock much. For me, it would make more sense to spend $2 or so and get a syn like QSUD.
