While at Walmart today I saw a brand new display of Motorcraft Synthetic Blend 5w20 SN Rated 5 qrt jugs on the shelf . The SM version of this oil made it the "darling of the dino users" and turned in some very impressive used oil analysis . Care to predict what we may see with the new SN rated MC Syn Blend used oil analysis (i.e. improved add pack , lower wear numbers ?)

I'm a user and am very happy with it, even after the $2 price hike. However, i don't do extended drains and just don't feel like going through the trouble and expense of used oil analysis just yet, so no scientific reports from me, sorry!
Btw, I don't use it in MY cars (as seen in my sig) but I use it in the cars of friends and family.

Runs great in my yaris with a 3q 5w30 SN and 3/4 qt 5w-20 blend for fridgid winter tempering. Impressive stuff. I didnt like the new Pennzoil conventional SN in the forester. Bad fuel mileage (-2) and noisy engine. Fuel mileage is back and engine again smooth with Mobil Super SN on sale for $11 bucks for 5qt jug at Wally's. Maybe it was the blue painted ODoD called a subaru factory filter last time(!?)
I'm using it in my 2008 Civic with a 1.8L engine. I was using Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w20 but figured that was over kill since the car is still under warranty. I plan on changing it when the OLM is at 15% which should be around 7500 miles. I'm using it because of all the good things I've read about it on this site.
I switched to the SN Motorcraft 5w-20 a few weeks ago. It was the only API SN oil available at Wal-Mart (even a new one that just opened in January) other than Pennzoil conventional which was more expensive.
I am at about 1,150 of 5,000 planned miles on this oil. I probably won't bother with a used oil analysis.

Of the SN Rated 5w20 conventionals under $14.00 per 5 qrt jug - I am predicting used oil analysis will show this is the pecking order of the major brands :
1 . Motor Craft Syn Blend
2 . Pennzoil conventional
3 . Mobil Super 5000
4 . Quaker State Advanced Durability
Castrol and Valvoline are over $14.00 a 5 qrt jug.
Chevron Supreme and Shell Formula 5w20 get honorable mentions ...
