Any Ghost Stories?

I saw a person on the sidewalk coming home from work one evening, I worked in EMS. When I got to the corner, maybe 1-2 seconds, they were walking around they had disappeared. I could see them walking as I was driving closer. They could not have entered the home on the corner as I would have seen them, they were just gone. I asked my opposite rotation relief about any deaths on the street and they told me they had a death in the exact area where I saw the person on the corner a couple days prior. Their description of the person is exactly who I saw standing on the corner. Idk, call it what you will.

I've been to some ghost tours in Deadwood and Gettysburg and you can feel something off in areas.
My dad woke up in the middle of the night and almost jumped out of the bedroom window going after someone he saw standing behind the bed in the window. The bedroom was on second story and no roof behind the window, no way for someone to stand. My mom woke up as he was yelling at the person and grabbed him as he was going towards the window.

My dad owned an old 1800s school house once, him and my step-mom would constantly here voices and steps in the attic all the time. They would go up there and nothing would be there. He cut a tile just short for a counter top, was just going to leave it and have a larger gap for the grout. It was in the corner and they had no extra tiles to fix it. The next morning the gap was even... they swore it was the ghosts.

My pitbull gets freaked out at the cemetery beside our house. Turns his head like he is following someone walking and barks at them occasionally. This is a regular occurrence on our walks. Does it with me and my wife.
I believe as these are just couple of things ive experienced.

I had a fantom growl when I lived in Maine one of the 5 summers I lived there. It would happen both day and night at the edge of my field. It would last long enough and growl a few times for me to move on its position and get a probable location, always 10 to 20 ft inside the woods just were it got thick enough to not see whatever it was. My dog would bark at it and my sister heard it too. I mag dumped my min14 a few times in its direction or emptied my shotgun at it some times even after two 30 round mag dumps or up to 10 number 4 buckshot shells it was still growling. I even charged it several times with rifle in hand and my dog following me. Never did see anything or find any blood, tracks or broken branches ect. The only thing that would stop the growling was charging at it.
I was in the process of stepping up my game building a muzzleloading cannon that fired 2lb of nails and a flamethrower when it mysteriously stopped as quickly as it started.

My late In-Laws bought a house that was built in 1977 . It was new and they were the first owners . They claimed to have a ghost that they named " George " . They would see a shadow figure off to the side while watching TV , and there would be lights on in the house that were off when they went to bed . They would hear a car door slam outside and assumed that one of the kids had come to visit but no one ever showed up at the door . The craziest thing was the grandchilden seeing people that nobody else saw . My oldest son was about 4 yrs old at the time and was outside in the pool with his Mom . He asked her about that man that was watching them swim . My wife said nobody was there .

No ghost stories to add, but I spent last night in this house as a B&B guest. I have to admit thinking of the movie, Burnt Offerings. When the sun comes up the stress goes down but not in that movie.
