Any downside to using a larger filter

Only real reason I use a bigger filter is the ability to dump an even 6 quarts in my truck and not worry about a half quart laying around. Oil bottles leak after you open them and it bothers me really bad for some reason. Never had any problems running the larger filter on my Tacoma which is currently the Tundra OEM YZZD3 filter but next with be Fram Ultra XG3600 used on older Ford Taurus applications.

two at once does that lower or raise your oil pressure?

If the pressure sensor is after the filters you won't see the filter's effect on the oil pressure.

Neither. These filters are rated at the same pressure relief as my stocker.

The filter pressure relief valve setting has nothing to do with the engine oil pressure seen on the pressure gauge.

Cut open a few filters and you will understand. Modern engines run so clean.

I agree.
