Why are so many car shows on TV cringe Worthy. The only ones I have seen that are decent are the older Wheeler Dealers, Power nation where they rebuilt some cool cars (old SS Camaro Z06 etc.) I can tolerate Graveyard Cars because I was a MOPAR guy back in the day but the owner is trying to hard to be funny. Any others worth watching.

I actually watch Roadkill. Always interesting sort of "do it yourselfers" making a TV show about repairing junk then driving it somewhere and sort of racing it. Lots of old, rusted out muscle cars.

Motorweek was back on PBS a few weeks ago

Some of the old foggies restarted one of the classic shows online again also (now I’m forgetting the name of the traditional long form show)

IIRC Finnegan and the other guy got famous in their own rights and don't need the sponsorship of a magazine when they can just do their own YouTube thing and own all of it. So I'm happy for them in that regard.
That would be David Freiburger. Loved that show those guys are so much fun to watch.

Also, another show that got canceled was "Roadworthy Rescues" with Derek Bieri. It's definitely was on par with Roadkill. You can watch him at Vice Grip Garage on YouTube.

David Freiburger on YouTube is about the only one I watch. His road trips and history lessons are enjoyable. (He has a vast wealth of knowledge.)

Vice Grip Garage? I think it could be great,…but he puts on this goofy persona that doesn’t come across as real. He mumbles and puts “ish” at the end of so many words. I’m not buying it.

Vice Grip lost its initial vision when he moved to Tennessee in that big house. Currently for sale for almost 2 million.

Legit Street Cars, Junkyard Digs, Pole Barn Garage are the ones I can tolerate as far as YouTube goes.
