Another car on my road . Driver can't read. (Pics)

First and foremost, its a clearly visible deterrent. If the readers here cannot wrap their minds around that and understand what a deterrent means, I just can't help them. This deterrent would stop 99% of the trespassers.

Second, who would continue to drive over it to blow out all 4 tires? Makes no sense. Even if they did, then they would have to get a tow. Tow trucks operate everywhere. Shame on the 1% if they are too stupid and drive over spikes. Serves them right to wait and pay for a tow. Even the stupidest would then learn their lesson and not go back again. Pretty simple.
Let it go...

living in a secluded area like you do I would have the meanest unleashed dog I could find !
Why? Not every single soil that ignores or misses a sign has malicious intent, they may just be rubber neckers or exceptionally stupid, neither of which are harmful. Of course it's best to be prepared, that should be the rule no matter who you are or where you live.

Stupidity should be painful. And pain is an excellent teacher.

Example: I smashed the tip of my finger off with a hydraulic cylinder once because I couldn't be bothered to actually verify which switch I was moving. It hurt, and I certainly won't be doing that again.

Reminds me of another thread on here where an old guy shot and killed a couple teenagers on his driveway who got lost.....

But booby trapping your driveway with one way spikes lol.....

Wouldn’t those tire shredding devices DESTROY the owners tires, the Amazon trucks tires, Aunt Mary’s tires?

Pain IS an excellent teacher if you do something stupid to yourself and can be a good deterrent to those with ill intent, but not to some rando who has no bad intent.. then you inflicting pain on them may very well become painful lesson to you if they call the law because some crazy sent his attack dog after him with (or threatened with a gun) no warning or provocation. Force by way of dog, bat, knife, gun or whatever is meant to be a counter to a generally equal threat.

Sorry, best course is a series of escalating deterrents. Sign, gate, verbal dressing down, then if they continue and ill intent is established, force.
