Annoying link image obscuring copy

In Outlook, Windows 11, I've lately been getting this annoying link information covering part of the image or text that I want to see:

Does anyone know how I can stop this thing from appearing?

Does it go away if you move your mouse pointer off of the image? Im out of the Windows World but remember that happening until moving the mouse. Never thought much more about it.

When you mouse over a link your browser is showing you where that link'll send you. Especially in an email application this is a VERY good thing. In this case it is a comically long tracking link; else it'd probably just take up one short line; e.g. https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/annoying-link-image-obscuring-copy.390090/#post-7086868

Just get your mouse off the image and that tooltip'll disappear within a few seconds.

Yes, it does. However, I have the options set to turn off the feature of showing the link information.

However, I've a new machine coming next week. The one I'm using now was purchased used as an interim machine as I was waiting for the holiday deals to get a new one. I'll still use this older machine for certain things, so it would be nice if I cold get rid of that annoying link info.

However, I have the options set to turn off the feature of showing the link information.
I don't consider this a very good thing. I like to have control over how my computer behaves, especially in the situation shown in my original post. Too Much Information! which obsures too much of the image/link, which itself is sometimes to large to remove the cursor from altogether.

As far as I know that is by default and cannot be changed. The turn off link feature you have disabled is for the previews, but don't quote me on that last part, I have not check that yet.
